About the role

We're looking for a Strategic Accounts Director to own and grow relationships with a portfolio of our most important named customers.

This is a high-visibility role for someone who has deep experience managing complex, high-value enterprise relationships and knows how to navigate long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. You'll act as the primary commercial lead for a set of strategic accounts, building trusted relationships with executives and technical decision-makers, identifying opportunities to expand adoption, and leading complex negotiations across commercial, technical, and legal lines. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure our largest customers get the infrastructure and support they need to scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of named AI and hyperscale customers, driving long-term revenue growth and customer success.

  • Develop and execute account strategies for key customers, identifying opportunities to expand adoption across infrastructure, capacity, and new services.

  • Build trusted relationships with executive, commercial, and technical stakeholders, serving as the primary commercial lead for assigned accounts.

  • Lead complex, multi-year enterprise negotiations involving commercial, technical, legal, procurement, and executive stakeholders.

  • Identify and develop new opportunities within existing accounts while expanding relationships across business units and decision-makers.

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements.

  • Coordinate executive engagement, account planning, and governance to strengthen strategic partnerships and drive long-term customer value.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account plans while ensuring disciplined opportunity management.

  • Represent the voice of strategic customers internally, providing market intelligence and influencing product roadmap and commercial strategy.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of enterprise B2B sales or strategic account management experience in quota carrying roles.

  • Existing executive and commercial relationships with leading AI-native companies, hyperscalers, or large enterprise technology organizations, including organizations such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Meta, xAI, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, or Oracle.

  • Technical understanding of AI infrastructure and workloads, GPUs, machine learning, high-performance computing, networking, cloud architectures or modern data center solutions.

  • Demonstrated success managing and growing large strategic accounts within AI infrastructure, cloud computing, data center, networking, or enterprise technology markets.

  • Experience engaging executive leadership, technical decision-makers, procurement, legal, and finance stakeholders throughout long sales cycles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in high-growth, startup, or scale-up environments where adaptability and ownership are critical.

  • Experience collaborating with executive leadership on strategic customer initiatives and long-term partnership development
