April was a defining month for Verda. We raised $117 million to accelerate product development and global expansion, completed our SOC 2 Type II audit, and announced our deployment of the Arm AGI CPU across our next-generation AI infrastructure.
We also sponsored PyTorch Conference Europe and hosted the GPU MODE IRL Hackathon in Paris. Here's everything that shipped this month.
Platform updates
Confidential Computing
Confidential computing is now in early preview on Verda, available to select customers through both the cloud console and API. This brings hardware-level isolation to your workloads, keeping data encrypted not just at rest and in transit, but during processing as well. If you're working with sensitive data and want early access, contact us.
CLI
The Verda CLI is now available, giving you a command-line interface to manage your GPU instances, clusters, and other resources directly from your terminal.
Release note
We've launched a dedicated release notes page in our docs, giving developers a single place to track platform improvements, new features, and product announcements as they ship. Check it out if you want to stay close to what's changing on Verda console
Company News
Verda raised $117M
We've raised $117 million to accelerate product development and expand into new markets.
The funding supports our launch into the UK and US, and 100+ hires by year end across engineering, AI Lab, and go-to-market. Our revenue run rate doubled in Q1 2026, operations are cash flow positive, and we're one of a select group of NVIDIA Preferred Partners globally.

Verda is SOC 2 Type II compliant
Verda has successfully completed a SOC 2 Type II audit, covering Security, Availability, and Confidentiality across the 2025 audit period. A Type II report means an independent auditor observed our controls operating effectively over time, not just at a single point.
This adds to our existing ISO 27001, 27017, 27018, and 27701 certifications. C5 is next on the roadmap.
To request the report under NDA, reach out via our contact form.

Ecosystem
Verda to deploy Arm AGI CPU
We're deploying the Arm AGI CPU across our next-generation AI infrastructure, paired with NVIDIA GB300 systems today and the upcoming NVIDIA Vera Rubin (VR200) fleet. The result is a fully Arm-native stack from orchestration to inference, purpose-built for agentic AI at scale.

Compal
We've announced a strategic partnership with Compal to accelerate the build-out of our next-generation AI infrastructure across Europe and APAC. Compal will supply high-density, liquid-cooled AI server platforms powered by NVIDIA's Blackwell and upcoming Vera Rubin architecture, engineered for agentic workloads that process extensive context at high concurrency.
The partnership is an important step in our APAC expansion plans and brings Compal's deep engineering expertise in accelerated computing, advanced thermal design, and system integration to Verda's sustainable cloud deployments.

ExpressVPN
Verda is powering ExpressAI, ExpressVPN's new privacy-first AI platform where user prompts are cryptographically isolated at the hardware level, not just protected by policy. Most AI platforms promise not to look at your data. ExpressAI is built so it's technically impossible to.
The partnership involved joint R&D on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, including enabling confidential computing for multi-node configurations on HGX B200, going beyond the single-GPU setups most implementations are limited to today.
SkyPilot Integration
SkyPilot now ships with first-class support for Verda. The open-source framework gives you a unified CLI and YAML spec for running AI and batch workloads, so you can provision on-demand GPU instances with a single sky launch, run managed jobs that recover automatically on failure, and deploy model endpoints with SkyServe.
If you're already using SkyPilot across other clouds, the same task YAML works on Verda with no rewrites.

Events
PyTorch Conference Europe
We sponsored PyTorch Conference Europe this month and spent a few days connecting with the AI builders, researchers, and engineers shaping the open-source ML ecosystem. Plenty of good conversations about training infrastructure, inference at scale, and what teams actually need from their cloud provider.
GPU MODE IRL Hackathon
We hosted the GPU MODE IRL Hackathon in Paris as a side event to PyTorch Conference Europe, bringing together researchers and engineers working at the bleeding edge of ML systems for a day-long build across two tracks: distributed training and inference optimization.
Teams got access to a B300 cluster from Verda, with talks from PyTorch (Helion), vLLM, and Prime Intellect.
Congrats to the winning team, who took home Verda cloud credits including 48-hour access to a GB300 NVL72.
Upcoming Events
We're sponsoring MLSys 2026 and looking forward to engaging with the researchers and engineers shaping the future of ML systems. If you're attending, come say hi, we'd love to chat about training, inference, and AI infrastructure.
