Former Morgan Stanley banker and Nokia Head of Corporate Development joins Verda as the company scales its global AI infrastructure platform
HELSINKI, FINLAND. 6th August 2026. Verda, the European AI cloud provider, today announced the appointment of Mikko Einiö as Chief Financial Officer. Einiö will lead Verda's finance organization, including financial planning, capital raising and capital allocation, as the company expands its AI infrastructure platform globally.
The appointment follows a period of rapid growth for Verda. The company reached an annualised revenue run rate of approximately $120 million in June 2026, representing tenfold growth over the preceding 18 months. Verda is expanding its infrastructure and operations across Europe, the United States and Asia in response to growing global demand for high-performance AI compute.
Einiö brings more than 20 years of experience in finance, capital markets and corporate development. During nearly two decades at Morgan Stanley in London and New York, he advised companies on equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and initial public offerings. Most recently, he served for two and a half years as Head of Corporate Development at Nokia.
He will be based in London, the leading European hub for AI, technology and capital. The city will become one of Verda's principal global locations, with plans to hire more than 100 employees over the next six months and build a significant local pool of AI and technology talent.
Mikko Einiö comments: "Building AI infrastructure at global scale requires access to significant capital, disciplined capital allocation and flawless operational execution. The coming years represent a critical opportunity for European companies to scale and establish themselves as global leaders in AI infrastructure. Verda stood out to me because Ruben and the team combine bold global ambition with an exceptional pace of execution and a clear understanding of what it takes to succeed in this market. I look forward to helping build the financial and capital platform needed to turn that ambition into sustained global growth."
On-Demand, High-Performance Compute
Verda's core product is on-demand access to high-performance compute for AI workloads. Customers can provision compute instantly, scale it according to workload requirements, and stop when it is no longer needed, all without going through a sales process or committing to a long-term contract.
Verda manages the full stack from physical data centres and server hardware through to the cloud platform that gives AI teams access to high compute performance in terms of speed, reliability and cost. Verda is one of a select group of NVIDIA Preferred Partners globally.
"AI is becoming critical infrastructure, and our goal is to build the platform frontier AI teams can depend on as they scale. We are scaling at pace, and Mikko brings more than two decades of experience raising and deploying capital for some of the world's leading companies. He will be central as we expand our infrastructure to meet the global demand for compute," said Ruben Bryon, Founder and CEO of Verda.
