HELSINKI, 10th July 2026. Frontier AI cloud provider Verda announced that its funding round has grown from $117 million (€100 million) to $155 million (€136 million). The increase follows the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) joining the group of financial institutions backing the company.
The round includes debt from Nordea, OP, Danske, Norion, and NIB, and is anchored by equity led by Lifeline Ventures, with participation from byFounders, Tesi, Varma, and other investors. The financing supports Verda's product development and international expansion.
"AI is becoming critical infrastructure, and our goal is to build the platform frontier AI teams can depend on as they scale. We're grateful to have such strong backing from reputable partners as we continue growing to meet that demand," says Ruben Bryon, Founder and CEO of Verda.
Founded in 2020, Verda (formerly DataCrunch) builds AI cloud infrastructure that gives developers and organizations on-demand, high-performance compute at scale. Its Finland data centers run on 100% renewable energy. Verda is a NVIDIA Preferred Partner, working with customers including ExpressVPN and Magnific.
