Helsinki-headquartered AI cloud company has grown 10x in 18 months, and plans to double headcount in 2026 as it expands across Europe, the US and Asia.
Helsinki. Monday 15th June 2026. Verda, the AI-native infrastructure provider, has reached a $100 million revenue run rate, having grown 10-fold in just 18 months. Verda raised a $117 million round in April 2026, bringing its total funding to date to approximately $200 million. The company currently employs over 130 people across more than 30 nationalities and plans to double its headcount in 2026.
Founded in 2020 in Helsinki, Verda builds the next-generation cloud infrastructure for AI. It gives AI teams instant access to high-performance compute at scale, without the friction of traditional procurement. Verda operates end-to-end, from data centers to the tools AI teams use for their work. The company also has an in-house AI Lab that shapes Verda’s product development based on real-world use cases.
The company’s customers include the likes of 1X, ExpressVPN and Freepik. Verda operates data centers in Finland powered by 100% renewable energy and recently opened a London office, with further expansion planned across Europe, the US and Asia. It is one of a select group of NVIDIA Preferred Partners globally.
